(Published September 2009) We are forming small groups in the Portland Metro area to review genetic information case studies and discuss the ethics & policy issues associated with genetic testing and various potential uses of genetic information. Become an informed participant in this important public policy discussion...

You will meet three times between Oct. 1st & Nov. 18th, and the facilitator for your group will work with your schedule. Each session lasts about an hour. The three sessions will explore: 1) genetic testing in adults, 2) Preimplantation genetic screening, and 3) genetics in law enforcement & other non-medical uses of genetic information.

All groups will meet at the Grand Lodge, McMenamins, for dinner and a televised expert panel on Nov. 18th of November.
