  • 9:15 – 10:15am: Plenary session with Dean Hamer, "Spirituality and Religion - Genes vs Memes." (Introduction by Heide Deditius-Island)

Saturday Afternoon (Oct. 13th)

  • 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Plenary session with Joseph Graves, Jr., " Faith, Science, and Democracy: Where to Next?"(Introduction by Lisa Sardinia)

Saturday Evening (Oct. 13th)

  • 5:00pm - 6:30pm: Panel on Stem Cell Research & Religious Faith freaturing Dean Hamer, Ted Peters, Ronald Cole-Turner and Joseph Graves, Jr. Moderator: Courtney Campbell (this panel is open to the general public. Admission is $15)
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm: Plenary Session with Ronald Cole-Turner, "My Genes Made Me Do It: Some Theological Reflections on Freedom and Responsibility." (Introduction by Bruce Bishop, Pacific Institute Board Chairman)
  • 8:00pm: Reception for Keynote Speakers & Faith Forum Community Seminar Facilitators
